I'm not good at curl patterns, but just wanted to say that your hair is beautiful! And in the end, curl pattern isn't really that important. Whether you're 1c or 2a (or even 3b or 4a), the advice here will still help your hair look and feel its best.

The way I understand it, type 1 is straight. Yours has wave that means its curly and I'd say 2a. That said, type has little importance - determine your hair properties to find products and techniques that will bring out the maximum curl potential of your hair. /home/leaving?target=http%3A%2F%2Flivecurlylivefree.com%2Fcurly%2520hair%2520basics.htm" class="Popup
remember, with all advice or suggestions for your hair, YMMV!! :read2:
    My hair:
2b wavy, medium texture, low porosity, med-high density. Protein finicky.
    My routine:
Cleansing: DCNP, every 4-5 days (occasionally use CJ cleansers).
    RO: CJSC, occasionally use JCDC
    LI: KCKT or CJSL
Gel: KCCC, CJCIAB for 2nd day hair (sometimes third)

Heat is my friend: warm water rinses, steam caps, and diffuse dry. I love CLU cloths and my Denman.

Don't worry about what pattern you have. I think people get too hung up over what they have and don't focus on hair properties!
Coarse texture, normal-high porosity, normal elasticity (Komaza Care), very weak waves
cleanser: Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo, CJ Daily Fix

rinse out: GVP Conditioning Balm, CJ Beauticurls, CJ Smoothing

    jellies/creams: CR Curl Maker, KCCC
gels: CJ CQ, CJ Pattern Pusha, BRHG
