I'm from india.. I'm desperately searching for a inexpensive co wash conditioner! My god it's so hard to find!! Have u guys looked up garnier conditioners.. They are very low in silicones and the one labeled for "normal" hair is silicone free..
I mostly use this garnier and herbal essences range.. Planning to try biotique soon .. TBS range too expensive for me. let me know if you guys come up with anything more !!

I'm currently at BSL, aiming for waist length.I'm a very impatient person, wish me luck :D

If garnier hasn't changed their formulas (i say this because I noticed they changed the style of their bottles) then I'm pretty sure the "Normal " one has no silicones and the rest have only amodimethicone at the bottom of the list.. They all have parabens sadly..but it didn't bother me

So what products do u use?
There is also a brand called Enliven. It is imported from UK. I get it at a Spencers store here in kolkata. the conditioner is absolutely silicon free..u can chek its review on indian make up and beauty blog (IMBB) . But I'm not sure about it's availability in all parts of India. But it's really cheap.. And cone free. Maybe u can buy it online or look for it in big malls in chennai

My mom freaks out if I buy stuff online.. *rolls eyes* . She doesn't trust online shopping sites. I'm hoping that indian hair companies will launch silicon free CG products soon enough. Till then I think I'm going to stick to what I'm using now. :(

    Hi CurlyPrad!!! :glasses8:

I had bought Enliven gel 4m a store near my house ( Auchaan ) hav u heard of it ??? Have u bought Enliven conditioners yet???
I had used it in the past .......i wasn't much satisfied by it's results :sad7: ...... I prefer u buy Herbal Essences Hello Hydration ..... It really works ...:bball:

    What is ur curl type???
  • curlyPradcurlyPrad Posts: 6Registered Users
    hey!
i am 2c - 3a ish. I really couldnt figure out the exact type yet!
but yes, I got the enliven kiwi-fig conditioner and find it really good! but right now i cannot rate it as I've used it for just 2 times. I find it better than body shop rainforest moisture conditioner i used before.
One more update, I switched recently to Giovanni TTT shampoo, ordered from here and it is just GREAT!
My hair feels really clean and moisturised too! This is the best CG shampoo I've ever used! and its totally worth its cost.
I will update soon on how the conditioner is working in some weeks.
However I cannot figure out on gels. how is the Enliven gel working for you?
i really need some product for good hold.
    ty!

    hi!!! :queen:
i have also seen Giovanni TTT shampoo in the stores ...but did not buy it as it was out of my pocket ..:sad11:
I do like the enliven gel ...but excessive use of it may make ur hair mushy and sticky at times ....i follow the skipcurl method to style my hair
iam still working on the technique to perfect it .
it does provide a good hold .

    Hello everyone!

I wanted to check if there is a volumising mousse which is sulphate and silicone free, available in India?

I have used the Body Shop's Guarana Berry volumising mousse in the past but discovered that it contains silicone. It worked well for me back then, but i dont want to risk it.

    Any other?

    Hey there!
I m looking for a curly hairstylist in Mumbai or in Pune or perhaps any other part of India. I desperately need a haircut but I have had some really bad experiences in the past. So this time I m only gonna go for a professional. So if anyone out there knows a stylist who specialises in curly hair, plzz plzz let me know.

    Thanks a lot!!
