Plank and Green October.

Anybody want to do this with me?


If anything I might just do the planks I'm too lazy to be making smoothies all the time LOL.

eta if you can't read the picture

starting october 1st. Do a plank everyday 1 minute if you can, or start 30 seconds whatever you can do. Then add 5 seconds on everyday until the 31st.

Green:

Each week make a green smoothie everyday:
week 1: spinach - handful
2: kale - 2 leaves of kale
3: swiss chard- 2 leaves
4: 2 leaves of collard greens


No sweetners, etc etc.

    I'm thinking of doing those butt life sit ups that work your lower abs like everyday add one because I can barely do one.

    We do those in Pure Barre. Killer.

    Had class yesterday with planks, one legged planks, side planks, and the side plank/tricep dip combo. Omg.

    Does splitting 2 minutes worth of planks into 30 seconds count as doing a two minute plank?

    If so I just did that.

    Side planks are easier than front planks

    I tried one the other day and for some reason couldn't do a minute. Not sure what happened. Maybe my arms are too weak now....:goofy:

    1. Earthquake: Sit with legs straight out, arms forward, spine tall, and lean back to your “tipping point”. Keep your heels on the mat as you lean back! Let it shake!
    I'm going to do one everyday or twice, or as many times as I can until the end of the world (december 21st) since there will probably be earthquakes, it makes sense.

    I never realized how hard a plank is until about a month ago. We had to hold one for a full minute and my entire body was shaking!

    I'm thinking of doing planks but moving each leg out to the side one at a time. I think it will take my mind off the pain and shaking of a normal plank. I'll do it tomorrow.

    I love planks! We do them in my yoga class - we also "walk the plank": from standard straight arm plank, lift one hand, put it down; lift the other hand, put it down; lift one leg, put it down; lift the other leg, put it down. And repeat the cycle as many times as possible with control and slow, complete and steady breaths.

    I hate walk and planks I hate things that involve touching the floor when I can't reach the floor because of my back.



    did I tell you CL we had a competition and this girl won doing a plank for 4 minutes, she wasn't even sweating! she just quit because she was the last one, (the second to last was 3 minutes). She said she never did planks or never has until that day, she skydives....interesting how that works out.
