have you done your own styling concoction or any other product for your hair?
I'm looking to experiment and wanted to some feedback- if you have or plan to - please share you're ideas.

ingredients I have in mind for my crazy three texture hair: lavender, jojoba, shea butter, aloe ( not sure where to get this one?)
3b/C with nicer curls on the bottom!
Hair: naturally very dry and VERY porous
hair seems to be moody.
Does not seem to like oils
Does not like protein or too much?
Does not like rich products

So, I ask myself. What does it like? That is the question, and I'm on a mission.

Whole foods has Aloe Vera juice and gel. Curly Girl book has a recipe for a water lavender oil refresher spray. I use a daily spritz of 3 tbsp distiller water + 4 tbsp rose water glycerin mix (whole foods) + 4 tbsp Aloe Vera juice + 1 tsp sealant oil like jojoba or almond oil. You can also try argan, sunflower oil, olive oil....

A LONG time ago this user called GypsyCurls made a KCCC dupe recipe for Kinky Curly's old Jojoba Jelly.

    The recipe is

    4 oz Aloe juice
    1 oz jojoba oil
    1 oz glycerine
1/4 to 1/2 tsp xanthan gum

Ive personally tried this and it DOES work really well at accentuating curls
