Seriously damaged and thin curly hair.

I have for years styled me hair incorrectly. Using all of the worst products on the market. I have dyed my hair for over 15 years ultimately ending up with black hair after a battle with bleach. I had also done a keratrin treament five years ago to end the frizz but ended up with half dead and half frizz after groing it out. I have decided recently to stop processing and using heat on my hair since it is so damaged and thin. I have been trying the curl girl method but need more help on styling, haircuts?, products, support, a shoulder to lean on anything :( :) I appreciate your help btw i am a 3a 3 b hair type but mostly 3b.

Welcome, PrissaJean! You'll find all the support and help you need on these boards. It's important to know your hair properties in order to choose the right products for your hair. Coarse hair and fine hair respond differently to the same product. These links will help you figure out what your hair needs:
Live Curly Live Free - Curly Hair Basics
Curly Hair Tips, Styles & Products - NaturallyCurly

You've made a great first step by stopping the chemicals and heat that only cause more damage. Deep treatments to get some moisture back into your hair may be your next step. Many of us avoid shampoos with sulfates as they are very drying. We also avoid conditioners and styling products with silicones as they coat the hair and keep moisture from getting in.

Read, read and read some more. You'll find a wealth of info here. Ask questions when you have them. And don't get overwhelmed! It can be a lot to take in at first but it will all fall into place with some time and patience. Good luck!
