I didn't see one, and I like to fit in :P So let's get started.

Hit: Nubian Heritage EVOO And Moringa Hair Butter. Rullll good. A great sealer and excellent added moisturizer. Emulsifies like crazyyyy.

Miss: deep treatment from the same line. Maybe my hair was too wet when I put it on, but even added heat left my hair sticky and hard.

Hit: L'Oreal EverCream shampoo. (Gold tube.) My hair was so soft I thought it was MELTING!!!! And it has this sweet coconut/cream scent.

Hit: TRESemme Naturals. The nourishing moisture one. Love it! Detangling was a breeze. Together the L'Oreal and this was just wonderful together.

On the fence: Cantu Shea Butter Coconut Curling Creme. My head is kinda itchy. Shea is not really my friend, but I had to try. The product is ok, but I see why some who used it said it left them dry and greasy. My hair is a little... Crispy feeling. I'll use it, but not sure if I'll buy it again.

On the fence: Sof n Free Milk Protein & Olive Oil Strengthening Cream. I used a little under the curling cream and it's ok. Not sure if I'll repurchase yet. Together the CCC and this gave me nice curls, but once dry it was a bit greasy and hard. I'll try different amounts and methods and see if it gets better or worse.

No out right fails yet. :)

On the fence: Qhemet Burdock Root Butter Cream. Since the change (jar/ingredients order), my hair feels a lot drier. I am giving it another chance. I ordered another jar but looking around for a good substitute.

Oh I LOOOOVE the l'oreal shampoo. I accidentally grabbed the intense moisture one (gold and white bottle) that has a cone though, but when I use that up I'll definitely get the gold bottle.

Hits: As I Am Coconut Cowash...the slip was amazing and my hair didn't feel rough after rinsing it out.
SheaMoisture Styling Milk mixed SheaMoisture Souffle made my braid out beautiful. No greasy feeling on my hair and you couldn't tell that I had any product in my hair.
Miss: Loreal Cowash...there was very little slip and the fragrance was a little too strong for my husband since it flared up his asthma.

    Hit: Yes To Blueberries Conditioner
Nice, creamy and moisturizing enough to use after a shampoo. But not so thick you couldnt also cowash with it.. good slip to detangle and leaves the hair soft without leaving a residue. Feels like it would make a nice leave in gotta try it that way next..

Loreal Ever Creme Shampoo: I see im not the only person who tried this, bought it to use when I straightened.. good stuff. I got ready to straighten, added too much product and my hair was tacky so I had to go wash again, even though I shampooed earlier that day it still didnt strip my hair.

FINALLY got a haircut, she super layered it.. curious to see how it looks curly. Hope she cut off enough of the colored ends for them to curl on their own like the rest of my head.

After I use that henna I have to dc right after and cowash for two straight days after to get my moisture level back right. I like the color for that one.

Jamila henna gave me the frizziest hair. I noticed some loosening and the bright red dye was just a bit too much over for me over time.

The Rajasthani mixed with some cheap conditioner gave me the best color and soft hair. Too bad I'm lazy or I would start using henna again.

Hmmm. My hair doesn't like strong protein. Henna acts like a protein treatment. And Coconut milk treatments make my hair feel like pure straw. It took my hair weeks of dcing to recover the three times I tried coconut milk before I hung it up. If I mixed the two and added coconut oil I would be singing the protein overload blues. I suggest you cowash every day with something that doesn't have protein. That is the only way my hair bounces back.

Hits: Miss Jessie's Curly pudding - elongated my hair and gave it curl definition. I wore a leave-in conditioner (KCKT) and a moisturizer under (SM Curl & Style milk) it.

Hit: Changing the order of my products gave me 4 days of moisturized hair! I cowashed on Monday, used Tresemme Naturals Moisturizing Conditioner as a leave-in, Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter as a moisturizer and sealed with my avocado, Grapeseed and camellia oil mix then put my hair in a high ponytail and air-dried. Then each morning, all I needed to do was slightly re-wet it in the shower and seal with more of my oil mix. This is the first time my hair has stayed moisturized for this long. Today I followed the same routine for my wash n go to see if I get the same results.

Miss: I had a lot of tangles and shed hair today, but I can deal with that.

Thanks! :) I'm glad I'm not experiencing straw-like dry hair, post henna my hair hasn't been it's usual softness, yet still soft. The only issue I'm having a problem with post henna is frizz. Someone else suggested a Cherry Lola treatment and perhaps I'll give that a go. I've also been using "finishers" such as CJ Curls in a Bottle to help combat the frizz which is an added step but has been somewhat beneficial ...

Hit: Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner, when I initially tried this back when I first BCed it was rather thick and i don't think my hair liked it as much as the Hibiscus line... super happy I revisited this with the BOGO sale. As a leave in my hair was soft and retained moisture nicely :)

Miss: But as soon as I got back to the northeast, none of their products worked on my hair. I don't think I have ever used a product line that was so weather dependent. I have the hair lotion in my hair now and it is dry and hard. When I used them in NM my hair was as soft as silk. Go figure. I even tried adding glycerin, honey and agave to the products. Nope, no good. (sign)

Hit: Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie.
So I have been pretty busy this month so far and haven't been able to do my hair as much. Needless to say, I had major HIH syndrome and dry city with leaving my hair all out for days...without a satin cap at nights! YIKES! This product gave me soft moisturized hair, that smoothly went into medium sized twists.

Hit: Sample of Kiss My Face UM gel that everyone raves about on this board. tried a bit on a tendril of dry untouched hair and the product absorbed immediately and that piece of hair changed into a well defined moisturized full curl. nooiiccce. gotta get this in the future. still will play with this to decide.

Hit: Head & Shoulders shampoo-forever faithful and true watered down shampoo. just great touchably soft hair and beats those pesky dry scalp flakes away.

Neutral: At a hotel, I tried shampooing with their bath and body works, Coconut Lime Verbana product and this was a non-lathering non stripping poo. It felt like there was nothing being added to my hair. Hair was decent. A leave-in after would've did the trick for a touch of moisture, but was too lazy.

Neutral: Went to wholepaycheck and was shamefacedly browsing the hair section and came upon BROO! These are products made with beer. Yes you heard me right, BEER is the very first ingredient. Then my hair and my eyes began to twitch, exploiting my pj sensibilities. Instead of purchasing this I asked for a sample of their conditioner. think it was the Citrus Pale Ale fragrance. Used some of it as a rinse out. Didn't do much of anything. didn't care for the fragrance. Very happy I didn't break my no buy for this 14.00 nothingness. Will try the remainder again to see if its a possible purchase.

Nonhair hit: Getting a nice discount massage at a local clinic. *:happy10:heaven*

Miss: Shea Moisture Yucca & Baobab -wth! this went from neutral to oh no no *with a neck roll added for emphasis*. In the past with a cowash conditioner, this dc would spread better, and would give the hair a richness that was necessary. I wanted to see what it would do alone. big mistake. Alone, this dc is a mess imho. Doesn't spread at all, just clumps pitifully to parts of your hair. A drag to rinse out. Takes a while for hair to settle after washing it out. Don't know what to do with the remainder.

Hit: Elasta QP Olive Oil and Mango Butter Moisturizer used it for my twistouts and it had my hair soft with lots of curl definition to my twists. I picked this up BOGO free at Walgreens for $6.99

Hit: As I Am Coconut CoWash I never thought I'd cowash my hair after having so many bad results until this product. It left my hair very moisturized and detangling was a breeze. It's on sale now at Walgreens for $6.99

Miss: Queen Helene All Curl Moisture Rich conditioner Did nothing but make my hair dry and feel hard. I threw it in the garbage.

I wonder why it isn't working now, the weather here over the past 2 weeks has ranged from rainy to sunny with pretty good dew points AND even inside the icebox office of mine, my hair has been soft.
