Mixed hair, no fashion sense, new curly growth

So I decided recently to stop straightening my hair. I was getting Pravana keratin straightening so that hair is actually straight not even a little curl/wave. My last treatment was in February so I have probably 2-3 inches of growth that is very curly. I naturally am probably a 3B/3C. I started using DevaCurl a few days ago and it helps put a little bend in my straight hair but it's still obviously not blended with the curly parts. I cut off a few inches so my hair is up to my chin and I can't cut anymore of the straight hair off without being way too uncomfortable.

I could use some suggestions for styles or accessories I can use to cover up the texture difference without using heat. Also I am horrible at styling hair so it has to be simple. I don't want to fall back to my old habit of just pulling it into a tight ponytail/bun and breaking all of the hair on my hairline.:sad1:

Try braid/twist outs I have been living off of them since I began transitioning. If you need some suggestions of products, I have a list of some on my blog that work great for me. Just to give you some ideas. I started out trying products like curls, kinky curly, and shea moisture from Target Shopping at target in the beginning did not break the bank and still dont for me. As far as styling your hair, like I said you can try some curly styles or a bun, or a curly pony puff. Since fall is approaching, get some chic slouchy beanie hats for when your having a bad hair day
