"cheap" CG conditioners for CO washes

Aside from getting some Devacurl stuff when I win lotto  I'm thinking picking up some of the "cheaper" co's from ebay would be a good idea. I'm also hoping someone mentions a product they sell over here..

What are people's favourites?

I've heard:
White rain - which ones are CG, which work for people?
VO5 - Kiwi and Lime, is that the only one that's good?
Natures Gate - Again, which one?

Any others?

I love vo5 Kiwi Lime for co-wash and if you have it where you are, all of the Suave "naturals" line of conditioners are CG-friendly and are widely used for co-washes. I like the Aloe, Toasted Vanilla and some of the others.

    Cowash - No Poo
    Conditioner - One Condition
    Gel - Light Defining Gel

Looking to try Devacurl Decadence line next! Can't wait to try it.

Nature's gate jojoba is good for winter co wash
Beauty without cruelty daily benefits cleans well, I think that's probably a winter product since it does condition nicely too though.
Suave citrus smoothie, Suave totasted vanilla and sugar, pretty much any of the suave naturals
V05 kiwi and lime or V05 passion fruit smoothie
    White rain energizing citrus
freeman's papaya and lime overboard shine
    2c/3a?
    Low porosity, medium texture.

If it smells good put it in your hair, if it tastes good spit it out!

I love VO5 Passion Fruit smoothie. I heard the NG Aloe Vera is good, but I have not tried that one myself.

Oooooh I have just found some that should be CG:

Natures gate organics (can't find the jojoba one though)
    Giovanni
    Ecostore
Emma's organics (never heard of it!)
    No ordinary moments (ditto!)

    Anyone tried these?

Nature's gate jojoba is nice, is that the line that has the asian pear tea or some such? Lush will know she used it and liked it.
The aloe one is popular too.
    2c/3a?
    Low porosity, medium texture.

    these are my favorites!
Money might not buy happiness, but it will buy a shiny red Mustang and you can drive up REAL close to it.

Yep, MH is right, the one I liked from NG is from their Organics Fruit Blend, called Asian Pear and Red Tea, it was on LB's Conditioner Chronicles list. :) The Aloe did nothing for me, neither did the jojoba to be honest. But I'm a snob for slip. I didn't use any of them for co-washing though. My faves in that category would be Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut, Mango & Peach, and Mixed Berry Smothie.

Cool I can get the asian pear and red tea one.

The Conditioner Chronicles is a giant post by laurabeth33 reviewing oodles and gobs of conditioners.

You use it as a conditioner, of course.

Ok, grabbed some lavender & aloe natures gate organics, and some giovanni smooth as silk and direct leave-in.

So the trick with co-washing is using heaps and leaving it on a fair while... hopefully I'll have some success with this tomorrow :D

    Hi Blueberri,
Actually the trick to cowashing is using a Cg friendly condish (preferably a cheap one!) and applying it as you would a shampoo. Focus mostly on scrubbing your scalp with your fingertips, not nails. Cleansing the scalp is what your main objective is. At least that's what I do.

BTW--I loooove VO5 Strawberries and Cream--it's very moisturizing and leaves hair smelling delicious and feeling really clean. Plus it only costs $1.00, sometimes less if it's on sale!

It lasts me about a month.

    HTH! :D
3B, with oodles and oodles of curly hair! :toothy7:
