QOD/kerapremium or Peter Coppola?

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if anyone had any reviews of QOD Kerapremium vs. Peter Coppola. I am trying to decide b/w the two. The QOD is cheaper, but I'm wondering if the Coppola treatment is worth the splurge. I am looking for dramatic results. Thank you!

Ok, so I bought the pack of 4 kerapremium at home keratin treatment from QOD. IT IS FREKIN AMAZING. I believe it is natural. I used almost two weeks ago and have done my second wash and still AMAZING. It rained, it was hot and sweaty, I ran three laps and went to the GYM and YES!!!!!!, still great and in place.

Now, it cost $160.00 (no shipping fee). I used like 1/4 of the treatment so I have three more so it is worth the money. my hair is shiny and flowing. I have thick curly 4A curls (foreign black woman). I love it.

I took me about 5 hours to do the entire treatment properly. Lots of applying and washing and blowing drying and flat ironing. BUT IT IS WORTH IT!!.

I do have to admit something though. I add a product after all was completed and was getting ready to do my style...drum rollllllllll.... Ever straight Brazilian keratin therapy flat iron spray from ORGANIX... (in the weird tall skinny bottle) (not the short fat bottle, i hear that one doesn't work too well). I got it from CVS Pharmacy....ANNNNYYYYWHOOOO, so I sprayed that on my dried blow dried hair and flat iron it into the syle I wanted. light and grate. my hair was soft, shiny and flowing.

I usually get frizz as soon as I step out the door but not with this combination. On my first wash, maybe four days later. (I didnt need to wash so soon) but I wanted to try out another product I bought to keep the keratin treatment in longer. One n only Argan Oil derived from Moroccan Argan Trees Moisture Repair Shampoo and conditioner. I got from Sally Beauty store. (sulfate, phosphatem paraben free. IT WORKED GREAT. Still shiny, actually more shiny, and flowing and most of all NO FRIZZZZZ!!!

I had a bad experience with labrasiliana keratin treatment, my hair was breaking and falling out:(
my hair really feels healthy, and frizz free seriously.

I also tried the chocolate organic, that worked for like a week and back to frizzz $250 treatment, boy was I mad. It didnt break my hair off though.

If you want something more natural and safe, try Kerapremium, but you have to have patience to do it yourself, it takes over 4 hours to do properly.

I hope my review will help, i couldnt find a review on this product (KERAPREMIUM!!!!) but I took a risk.
Oh and if you see the You tube video you dont need that step three No heat iron thing, it is not required. I did it without and it worked wonders!!!!!!!

    Kerapremium all the way...woohooooo, goofy I know..shhh:)

Ha, I just noticed I signed up for the site as Kerapremium, I am obsessed. SMH..lol

Thank you! I think I'm going to try this before I buy the more expensive Coppola treatment. But what did you mean by saying you bought the pack of 4? I just see a big bottle of it on the website.

Under Kerapremium , we have 2 different formulas. Non formaldehyde/aldehyde , which is Kerapremium Liss, and we have Kerapremium Original BKT which does contain 2%. To compare with the other brand you mentioned that is a formaldehyde formula.

The Kerapremium website is being changed at the moment and we will be uploading all the other products we have available.

    Any questions let us know.

I haven't used kerapremium, but I've used both the original QOD, QOD organiq, and Coppola.
My end-point is this, use anything but coppola. Initially great results, but 2 weeks later significant hair shedding.

Then I did original QOD (which kerapremium with formaldehyde is supposedly similar to), I had good results, still had some shedding (which may have been continued from coppola.

Now I maintain on QOD organiq and I'm quite happy -- safe and formaldehyde free, not as straight results -- but clearly my wimpy hair is sensitive to that.

Does Kerapremium contains formaldehyde or other aldehydes?

Just asking because I remember the official QOD site claiming that their formulas does not contain raw formaldeyhde but other substances (that evantually turn into formaldeyhyde due to heat)

sorry had to make two post. the kit is 4 steps.. it is around 160 but it lasted me 4 treatments, and I had thick curly hair, shoulder lenght.

I am really liking this product, I have done three treatments now since my post and it is great. NO hairloss, actually i think my hair is growing faster, when I wash my hair it goes back to the natural state. I love it. For my first treatment I think it lasted without frizz and puffiness like 3-4 weeks, now on my third treatment it last without frizz and puffiness like 6-8 weeks. I love this product. trust me, i use to do my hair and as soon as the wind hit it, puff...I dont work for these people, they should really pay me for my reviews. hahah.. ANyway.. i am still using the argan oil shampoo and conditioner and organix iron hair spray I mentioned in my previous post between treatment..all are great...goodluck ladies...I am stuck for life with these products..it took me forever to finally find a combination that works and I have to help other women with puffy, frizzy hair....Whatever you do, do not use labrailiana keratin treatment.....I had bad hair loss and my curls have not come back since I used it in february... It is like I am starting my natural hair all over again..I will eventually cut off the damage caused by labrasiliana keratin treatment...
    hope this update help you...

oh one more thing, I started using the flat iron spray on my wet hair before blow drying and dont use it on my dry hair, it work better that way for me and it protects my hair from the blow dryer and makes my hair more bouncy for longer
