Protein and aloe-free styler

curlyiniecalicurlyiniecali Posts: 17Registered Users
I'm looking for a cream/styler without protein or aloe. There seems to be a lot of new products out recently but I haven't seen any protein/aloe free ones. Has anyone that is protein sensitive tried a product new or old that is w/o protein or aloe that seemed to work for them?

    Flax Seed Gel

    Xtreme Wet Line Gel *

And for the *Curly Kinks Coil Jam is very nice for me. It has coconut oil but its low on the list. For me coconut tends to act like protein depending on where it is

    has aloe *

You've probably already read through - http://www.naturallycurly.com/curltalk/protein-sensitive/145410-styler-recommendations-2.html and http://www.naturallycurly.com/curltalk/protein-sensitive/131183-any-inexpensive-protein-gels-out-there.html. You'd have to check the individual items for aloe. There may be other threads in that forum on stylers, but tbh, I lost interest after 15 seconds. Good luck! I just use butters myself (combined with the effect of damp styling and my natural kink), but then I guess they don't really count as stylers. If I was interested in gels, I'd be looking up flaxseed recipes.
