Curl Pattern?

Curly NewbieCurly Newbie Posts: 7Registered Users
Hello, I'm new here and trying to figure out my hair. I'm having trouble deciding my curl type, what do you all think? My hair is still a little damp in these pictures but the top of my head is always flat, any suggestions? All I did to my hair in these pictures was wash with DevaCurl low poo and condition with DevaCurl One Condition (as a rinse out and a leave in) I also put some LA Looks gel in.

:love10:Hi Curly Newbie, your hair is beautiful in your pics. You have quite a strong wave pattern, so I'm guessing a 2c/3a mix. Gorgeous!

Curl type can be transient. Especially, now that you've found nc.come! When I started lurking hair, I was a winter wavy/summer 3a. I found out how to take care of my hair and maximize my curls--using product and techniques.

The more important thing to know is your hair properties. Here's a link to help you with those Live Curly Live Free - Home They are really more important for choosing ingredients/products.

Deva is a love/hate line around here. Many of us started out with them, thought we liked them and then moved on to other things. Good luck on your curly journey!

Right now your hair looks 2c to 3a. Don't be worried if that changes as your curly hair journey progresses.

Thank you! I am trying to move on from DevaCurl. I placed an order on Sunday for Curl Junkie Curl Rehab Moisturizing Hair Treatment, AG Hair Cosmetics Re:coil, Curly Hair Solutions Curl Keeper, and Kinky-Curly Knot Today. I can't wait for them to get here, hopefully I have good luck with those products.
