A few years ago a salon accidentally loosened my curls. Anyone know how?? (Pics w/in)

I went to the mall to get my hair flat ironed. The lady did a great job and my hair was super straight and shiny for days. And after that my curls were suddenly looser and long. I can't remember how long this lasted exactly but it was at least a few months does anyone know what she did to my hair?? I would ask the stylist but she doesn't work there anymore

I have included pics of my 3b (?) hair.

I don't know if it was the heat or maybe some product they used. I just wanted to say your hair is beautiful! I especially like your hair in the before picture. It looks like a 3c to me and maybe a 3b after it was loosened. Idk.

Thanks for the complement!! I think I'm a mixture of 3b-3c.
Its super fine/thin, frizzy and soft to the touch like 3b but I have ringlets at the bottom like 3c and more s shaped curls at the top like 3b. And even when its short it doesn't stick up so maybe I'm 3b c/2 lol

maybe they used a product that leaves the hair straighter after washing...like nexxus had this straight memory one i heard about...dont worry it goes away after a few washes

3b or c or whatever is only indicative of curl size (not texture/softness) and yours looks a bit smaller than sharpie size in the first pic. I thought you were unsure of your curl size due to the "?" in your first post. Anyway if you already know, please ignore my suggestion that it looks 3c.

(I don't think 3c hair necessarily sticks up when short but I may be wrong.)
