sunscreen blues

How can I keep sunscreen from staining my white clothes? We use different types, a hypoallergenic spray on my son, an oil-free on my daughter and an anti-aging one on me. They all turn our white clothes yellow, but it doesn't show up until after the clothes are washed and dried.

Any ideas on how to prevent this from happening and to get rid of the stains after they've occurred because nothing I've tried works.

Put the sunscreen on before the clothes and let dry? I make my own stain remover spray with fels naptha soap and it's wonderful. Going to make my own detergent and see how well it works.
Walmart carries this white booster powder also. It helps.

Yet another reason why I prefer shade to sunscreen.

I don't have that problem so I don't have a direct solution. However we always apply sunscreen before we put on our clothes and we only use mineral based sunscreens, we avoid the chemical ones.
