Diffuser results...without a diffuser?

Hi! I LOOOVE my hair when I diffuse it! I get 2nd and 3rd day hair, even 4th (but I like to wash it by then, haha)
Anyway, I am going away to a place this summer with no electronics or dryers, so I was wondering if there were a way to airdry and get diffuser-like curls. I don't know if that's possible...but any help is appreciated! Thanks!

If you let your hair air dry, it should produce diffuser like results, if not better!

For me, using the diffuser produces the same results as letting my hair dry overnight while I sleep with my hair in a bun. If I just let my hair air dry naturally, sure it takes like 3 hours to dry completely, but the results are even better than diffusing it!

All of these options give me great hair results though! So you'll be fine without the electricity. Just remember not to touch it too much while it dries. The more you touch it, the frizzier it'll get. Once it's completely dry, feel free to shake your hair and ruffle it up with your hands to add volume.

I have been plopping with a triangle net lately with good results. It takes the weight off my hair as it dries and lets air circulate so my hair will dry. I read about it here:http://www.naturallycurly.com/curltalk/general-discussion-about-curly-hair/133918-my-version-plopping.html You look a little funny running around with a hairnet but if that doesn't bother you go for it. Another thing you could try is regular plopping with a MF towel or tshirt to absorb some of the excess moisture from your hair before you air dry. HTH.

i get my best results are after a "turn" between the sheets on wash day.... lol but when i shower and wash at night. i then work same condish through and seal my ends and let it air dry. a few times during the drying progress i tip my head upside down and really shake my hair. and just gently scrunch and cup my hands through my hair. that does it for me as well

my hair: 3b, high porosity, high density and coarse hair (i think i finally figured that all out)
my hair loves conditioner only styling!
Oils and my own procuts are my hairs best friend
my hair goal length is bra strap length when curly.
