damn that is a lot of hair. however, it must be a ***** to wash/detangle. I'd go through a whole bottle of suave naturals to co-wash that amount of hair. glad that she likes that new shorter do.

she was smart for shutting off comments and ratings on the vid, b/c i know souls are BURNING watching that vid lol.

i was surprised she cut THAT much off, but i literally shed a tear when i saw that her hair was calf length stretch. aint no way i could or would let my hair get THAT long. i can see myself in the shower, crying as i detangle all that right now...

    Got damn o_O

Only in my wildest dreams. Idk if I could handle hair that long though. Not with my texture, density and curl pattern. I get overwhelmed with my shoulder length hair. Calf length would be WORK. Too much work

Well it's no secret that I really prefer long hair in general but even for me that seemed like it was just too much for me to handle especially since it pretty much all seemed to be one length. MBL layers with a cut that gave it a lot of volume would have been great on that sort of hair in my opinion instead of just hacking it all off..but it's her hair and if she's happy with her cut that's all there is to it. :) I love how shiny her hair is..and the jet black color..swoon.

I imagine if my hair were that long I would go a whole week without washing, leaving until dire itchiness before attempting to wash it again... then braid it and leave it in the braid until next time... she must feel so good about cutting it

Yikes! Couldn't it be either? If the OP was only very slightly dismayed but said she cried a little, she's overstating her feelings which is hyperbolic. If a haircut is not something that the OP would cry about, saying that she cried about it would be a statement of irony /sarcasm.

No, because my very first comment was sarcastic.. then my second comment, was sarcastic... the OP didn't take offense to my comment, so why did this irrelevant person jump in and take my comment seriously.. then she says "but i'm not the one who took the OP literally in the first place"... however the only person that ever took anything seriously was this person.

she could have avoiding digging herself into a hole by not making serious matter out of a comment that was not addressed to her. *I* was being sarcastic in the first place, then I told her I was being sarcastic, but she kept wasting her time getting upset meanwhile OP had already replied and was not offended by my first comment. people need to relax it is just the internet

I dont think you intended it that way but your first post read like you were trying to make the OP look stupid or at least oversensitive. This could just be your style of humor but you are still new and people dont "know" you yet to get your personality. On the internet we only see words on a screen and not expressions or body language so things can be easily misinterpreted.

Remember this is an open forum and a group conversation so anyone is welcome to chime in at any time. So I think you calling someone "irrelevant" and getting on her case about commenting when she was not being addressed directly is totally foul. There is a way in the system to send people private messages if that is what you want to do.
I want you to know Im not jumping down your throat. Like I said I dont think you intended to be meanspirited that first post
read like it was from a bully. If you decide to spend a lot of time in 4a know we are not good for biting our tongues and you dont seem to be either so you should fit right in.

    anywho...

that's a lot of hair. i wonder why she finally decided to cut it once it reached her calf. like someone up thread had mentioned, i'm ready to shave my head (literally) once i get closer to bsl. i imagine if i reached calf length every time i had to deal with my hair i would rather shoot myself in the face (hyperbole).
