Straighter hair at the hairline

in Curly Men
I'm mixed black and white, a male, and I was curious to know if anyone has hair TWICE as straight at their hairline as anywhere else on their head? I ask because i swear I'm the only one with this issue. Right now my hair is laid down and wavy, but even when my hair is curled the hair towards my hairline is LITERALLY twice as straight as anywhere else. Is their a reason for this is it just genetics and my bad luck?

I can tell you that EVERY curly has at least 2-3 curl patterns going on in their hair (if not more). My canopy the back middle portion of my head is my curliest... under that, the part right above my neck is streighter and my fronts... I thought were streigthter... but after encouraging my curl I notice I just have a larger curl pattern there.

Yeah that's what I figured. I hate having straighter hair in some parts, but I guess it's common. Thank you for your response
