Business name brainstorm!

kat180kat180 Posts: 6,280Registered Users
My clever curlies! I need a business or etsy shop name!

I make leather journals and sketchbooks and photo albums, and it would be nice to have something that stands out and reflects quality etc.

Any ideas? I'm asking around all over. It's surprisingly hard!

I'm in the middle of rebranding (picking a new name, so I know how hard it is)

what do you like? what don't you like? Is there a reason why you aren't using "turn the page" or "crinkled pages"

Was thinking about how the unified function of what you make would be to capture things...trap time, whether it's thoughts or photos. So I got stuck on time and trappings, which led to...

    All the Trappings

It sounds like it's likely to be taken though.

    Shall think some more.

Turn the Page is my book review blog name and its pretty established so I don't think that will work.

Crinkled Pages was my original idea but I don't know, it just doesn't feel right, you know.

I don't know anything about your blog or your shop, but I'd think an established name of a "company" you already run would be good to use. What about something like "Turn the Page: Leather Bound", or a twist on the name, like "Bind the Page" (I'm reaching here, but you get the point).

I don't particularly like Crinkled Pages because if I was going to spend money on a nice leather-bound book of some kind, the purpose would be so the pages don't get crinkled!

I'd rather keep them completely separate - they aren't related in anyway.

I got The Bookbindery so far...

No one's actually using that on Etsy which is great, but on the downside, obviously a lot of binding companies come up on google when you type it in.

This is much harder than I thought it would be lol. Thanks for the suggestions so far!

    Bumping lol.

I started full time work just after I posted this and so everything took a backseat. I'm back to creating again now and really want to get a name and etsy shop open :) so any new ideas would be amazing guys!

    I quite like:

This feels like a big decision O_O once you've got a name your stuck with it so I gotta get it right.

I feel under pressure because I was thinking of getting some business cards printed up and then moo.com emailed to say they have a sale on for the next few days!!!
