    The suaves naturals conditioners
    Mill Creek Botanicals Biotin products
    Protein
    Shea butter
    Cones
    Mineral Oil

I've also noticed (especially as of late) that my hair does not like cakey-thick products. The low porosity level of my hair probably contributes most to this. IE Darcy's pumpkin condish-I like, but I watered down when the bottle became 3/4 full and I like it better. Really it could use some more water!
My hair tends to love: honey, oils, water, ceramides, dye ;)
4s/3s kinks and curls. CG, Coarse and medium strands, Low and normal porosity, High Density.

Anything with noticeable protein! Makes my hair hard and dry.

Vaseline... No.. Maybe a "hairdressing" will work (Dax, BB, etc.) but Not straight up Vaseline.

Dove Shampoo. I'm pretty sure it was taking my hair out. I have less shedding since switching to another brand. I don't think my Aussie was innocent in that deal either. (:()

Cowashing... No ma'am! To be fair, I think I was using the wrong conditioner for it. Aussie has cones. Vo5 has protein. I'll try it again. Right now I'm using shampoo mixed with conditioner. Seems to be working ok. I can cowash between shampoos, but not exclusively.

This thread is a big reminder as to why I hate to order products online. I try to buy samples first.

I've brought quite a few things that haven't worked, but I'm stubborn and persist in trying to find a way to make them work.

For example: Shea Moisture CES. I had it a year then found a tutorial on youtube that mixed it with EcoStyler Olive Oil and I got it to work. I'm at the end of the jar, but not sure if I will repurchase.

Castor Oil can only work if I use it SPARINGLY. And I mean very little. It can boost an hot oil treatment and a homemade DC. I tend to avoid it when styling. And can only put a drop on occasion with other elements to seal.

Aloe Vera does nothing for my hair by itself. I also need to mix only a little with a product that works. For ex: mixed w/betonite clay for a treatment.

Right now I'm trying to get SM Curling Souffle to work. It worked mixed with other stuff for about 3x, then stopped. This is another product that I can only use a very miniscule amount. I also think it's a product that cannot be used regularly and it depends on the weather.

But reading what doesn't work is not encouraging me to finally order some of these products online. I'm an impulse shopper. If I saw it on the shelf, I would probably buy it.

Really? Sweet, I might have to try that because my hair likes honey! Do you have a certain ratio you use?

No really. I put on the conditioner first then the honey. Cover and use a heat cap for about 20 mins.

Products loaded with glycerin (first 3 ingredients) behave weirdly in my hair? I will use products with glycerin, but they typically will not dry without some heat in my crown.
    [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
My hair: thick, medium/coarse, high porosity in the crown naturally, normal porosity everywhere else.

Personally, shea butter sits on my hair. Too greasy for my hair
