Are those curls I see??

Just took these pictures out of sheer boredom (and, yes, my hair is a hot mess lol) and seen the little twirly bits at my crown. I am transitioning from chemical damage and as you can see, the rest of my hair still looks pretty straight. But I'm excited about the curls Do yall see anymore curls coming in at my roots? I can't tell and idk if it is too early to tell. I know my roots are poofier than the ends lol.
