Aw it's nothing bad to have your kind of hair, it's great! Hmm let's see... Deep condition it. You can learn how from easy videos on YouTube. What do you plan on doing with your hair?

i plan on getting it to grow maybe 4-5 inches or longer and then have it "hang" that is if it doesn't defy gravity ( stick straight up )

It might stick up, but there's nothing bad about that. If u really want it to hang , you can look up Miss Jessie's products. They turn kinkier hair into curly hair. It's expensive to buy though. You could invest in it. Check out the site. :)

Just keep growing it til it starts to hang. It really depends on how much shrinkage you get. My ex had like 3c/4a curls and after 5 inches it hangs but not very long.

    ^True.

I have 4A/4B hair, and you might want to check out a gel called Wetline X-treme Gel. It's actually a men's hair product, but does the trick for defining my curl pattern. It can be found on Amazon or at Sally Beauty Supply. Here are some pics of it on my hair texture..been growing my hair out for almost 2 years btw.

It's hard to tell because your hair isn't grown out a lot, but it looks like 4A to me.

Your hair looks really cool, I think you should grow it out! Make sure to condition and deep condition regularly to add moisture and maybe look for some new hair products meant especially for coily hair.
