Excessively Dry Hair

Hi ladies,
I need help with combating excessively dry hair. I can't seem to get my hair to stay moisturized all day. In the mornings my hair looks great, but once the day is almost over, my hair is really dry, and frizzy. My hair is always super soft after I deep condition or co wash. I thinking about trying out new styling products. I don't want to go product junkie crazy though. Any tips or product recommendations? Also my hair is starting to hate braid/twist outs. I also get excessive dryness + tangles from doing them. My scalp also gets very dry and itchy. Even when it's moisturized, still itchy. I've just been wearing my hair in a bun. I have reached the 3 month mark in my transition to natural hair. I just need a little boost of help in creating a new regeimn to work with. I will gladly appreciate any kind of input or advice. I'm really trying to be patient with this issue. Thanks!

Seal in the moisture with natural oils. I prefer virgin coconut oil because it's not as thick as olive oil and coconut penetrates deeper than olive oil.
Do this 4-7 times a week especially if you have dryer than normal hair. You can shampoo once every other week if you use natural oils to seal in moisture or at least shampoo once a month during your once a month detangle session.
You will be able to cut out the deep conditioning but maintain your protein treatments once a month for damaged hair or once every 2 months for naturally dry hair.
