How do you shrink jeans properly?? I have this one pair of jeans I love that are just a tiny but too big, when I wash them and put them in the dryer, it helps, but I want something permanent.... any ideas??

I find that a steady diet of cupcakes, breaded chicken, french fries, cheeseburgers, cheesecake and fried seafood combined with lying down watching TV for a minimum of two hours per day does wonders for shrinking jeans.

On a serious note, do these jeans have any Lycra/spandex in them? If so you'll never permanently shrink them.

That about sums it up. Unless the jeans are 100% cotton, the only way to shrink them is to eat more.

Using heat on denim will make them fade and wear them out faster. Best to buy jeans that don't stretch out like crazy!

Maybe take them to a tailor and get them altered to fit better?

Yea.. you really shouldn't put your jeans in the dryer. Air drying them is best. But ITA with what everyone else said. Tailoring them is the most permanent solution.
I just want to do what I want to do when I want to do it.
