    Lucky boy.

When we lived in AZ, my cat fell into a cactus...he came home looking just like that puppy. An emergency vet visit (it was Saturday night, of course), 2 sessions of general anesthesia, lots of plucking, some antibiocs, and $1,000 later, he was good as new.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

He looks like our springer spaniel did when he thought it would be a good idea to bite a porcupine. He had the darn things in his mouth, ears. I was probably 8 but I still remember how sad Sam looked.

Even with all the cactus prickles he's cute.

    I want him.

He looks just as I imagine my little Gracie would've looked as a puppy - she was about 2-1/2 when she showed up. I saw him on TV but didn't realize he was as young as he looks in this picture. Poor little guy!
