Henna and Locks??

I have a friend who has sister locks (the tiny kind). She is considering using henna to color her hair. The question is won't the henna particles get trapped in locks? Even with my 4a hair it takes 2-3 co-washes to remove a henna paste from my hair - so I can't imagine that henna would be easy to rinse out of locked hair.

Anyone know any dreadheads who henna?:dontknow:

I don't have experience with locks but I do know that the finer the henna powder, the easier it is to get out. I once used a batch that was a bit grainy and it was horrible to get off.

Make sure the henna you use is the finest body art quality, which is ground very fine to get higher definition stencil and art rendition.
