Protecting Keratin in Salt Water & Chlorine

Hi there - I'll be getting my second (once yearly for summer) Simply Smooth in late May, and would like some advice on protecting the treatment from salt water and chlorine, both of course having salt in them. I use Lanza Shampoo & Conditioner, and the Simply Smooth products for after care.

My stylist recommended coating my hair in the Simply Smooth clear silicone-y stuff I use (can't remember name), and I'm fine with that but not sure if that will offer the most protection. Last year's treatment got me through an entire summer frizz-free and I would like to do what I can to protect it.

Would love some advice from the experts here!
