Color or Highlight Again

Hello my hair is naturally black brown with natural reddish highlights in the summer. Currently my hair has artificial highlights in dark golden blonde. I had the highlights done in January and they were done with the cap method. I am debating whether I should get the same highlights again or if I should dye my entire head a lighter brown. Currently it looks very natural, you can't really notice the highlights. When I put my whole hair up it looks all black brown, you can only see the highlights when my hair is down from the back. I know it is very damaging to do highlights to begin with but then again so is color. I can definitely say I am a fan of natural healthy looking hair. That being said I don't like my hair too dark because it makes me look sickly.

I would stick with highlights and not go with all over colour if I could help it.. the maintenance on the regrowth is tedious and needs to be done at least every 6 weeks... highlights can look good for 3 months. All over damage is worse than just the highlights being damaged, no?

Actually I would try the honey lightening first.. you never know, it may be great for you.

    Lightening Hair with Honey???

    good luck!
