Need help with biracial 3yr old son's hair

I'm going to post a few pics of my ds's hair. The first is how it is usually cut and the later two of his hair when it is a little more grown out.

Currently, I use a low poo once a week and cowash his hair two/three times a week. After his hair is clean, I leave about a half dollar size amount of condish in his hair. Product wise, I use to only use Roots of Nature Shea Butter Green Tea Strengthening Oil Moisurizer, which is actually a right light lotion. My problem is, Walgreen's has stopped carrying it so I bought a knock off Mixed Chicks lotion at Sallys. It doesn't work nearly as well.

My son is a 3 year old with loads of energy and won't sit still to get his hair done. I need to find something that will add definition to his curls. As you can see from the pics, they are not very defined, and before it is time for another wash, his hair is frizzy again. Help please!!

Thanks. I'll look into those. And, I LOVE his hair too. I often wish mine was that curly. :-) Of course, I can sit and fix my hair whereas he HATES his styled.

And an update, I realized I didn't put anything about his hair on here. (Sorry) Anyways, his hair is super fine; there's just tons of it. At the top of his head, it is drier and very tightly curled. The front top is still kind of dry with small curls tend to curl into big curls if that makes since. The back and sides are more wavy to straight, hence the fade style he usually wears.

I used to use that same moisturizer when my hair was short and it was great. Walgreens doesnt have it anymore but check with other beauty supply store. I now use Roots of Nature coil cream and i buy it at sallys so maybe they have that product too.
Yes, it's real. No, you can't touch it. :wav:
