looking for a moisturizing gel...

I love the way LALSG and LALPS gives super hold to my curls...but gosh it is so drying...

Is there a moisturizing gel that I could layer this with to keep it from drying my hair out so bad?

TIA

I find the Biotera Firm Hold Gel to be really moisturizing. It's thick, but it's also runny. It's not like most gels. It leaves my hair slippery, and shiny. It contains glycerin, so if you're sensitive to it, this probably won't be a good option. I'm not, I love this stuff!

I've been mixing my LALSG with Aubrey Organics Mandarin Magic and that works ok for the first day. By day 2 though my hair is dry again. It may be the sudden low dews in my area mixed with glycerin or I may have to find a new firm hold gel.

I use kinky curly curling custard with the KCKT underneath it and it doesn't dry out my hair like all the other gels and curl products. I also rub a little coconut oil on the ends about once a week that helps too.

Im not sure of any none drying gels but i have a feeling Benzyl salycitate in LA Looks products is what is so drying so maybe try avoiding that
    Lo-poo:organix Shea butter shampoo
    Co-wash: suave coconut
    Rinse out:GFTN/GVP conditioning balm
Leave in: GF daily care spray leave in
    Serum-like product: still need one
    Gel:LA looks sport gel/ HESMU,GFPC
    Oils: olive, coconut

    I think I'm normal-overly porous, medium-thick hair(although I see fine hair too), love protein

I put suave coconut condish as a leave in then use the biotera gel then scrunch in some la looks. It seems to help combat the dryness I would get when just using la looks on its own.
