Testing out some products.

I decided to try out my jessicurl samples last night after my shower. I think I used way too much product though, so I think it would have turned out better if I had used less. Anyway, I had to rinse my hair this morning and decided to try out the curly kink samples I recieved. So far, I'm liking them. I was expecting it to be similar to kinky curly, but it's not. We will see how it holds up today (I will be outside a lot for work).
CG as of Feb. 2012
combination hair.
2c on top - low elasticity
3a&b scattered underneath - normal elasticity.
fine texture. thin density. A lot of it.
porosity: normal to high.
loves protein and moisture.
BSACV as needed.

products may vary. i'm a PJ.
loving Curl Junkie, Curly Kinks, and AS I Am.

I'm very curious to hear about more experimenting with Jessicurl since your hair is similar to mine. I haven't been wowed by it yet, so hopefully you'll have some good info on how to make it work.

I wasn't really wowed by it either. I think I have enough still left in my sample packs and I'll try it again soon.

ETA: On a side note, I'm liking the Curly Kinks. I think I needed a bit stronger hold today, but otherwise I'm glad this stuff works. Kinky Curly didn't work for me. I like using more organic products. :]

One of the suggestions that I got for lower dews was to use CC then follow with RR. Of course the dews here have been all over the place. I came closest to success adding gel.

I think jessicurl wold have worked if I hadn't put so much of the second product in my hair.
