Vinegar smell?

I just strated a new regime hoping my curls will be nourished and ahave a looong deep drink.
I put together a few simple ingredients and came out very satisfied.

Water and vinegar and grapseed oil.
Thats it.

I mixed it together in a spray bottle, shook, then sprayed on my hair as a leave-in.My hair now is soft, shiny and MOVES! My hair is ALOT less oily and it usually takes a week before my first wash. It's been a little over a week and my hair is still fresh!
But the only problem is the smell!
I put in a little Aussie Moist Conditioner it helped the problem a little and added a bit of moisture.

Any suggestions on how to make the smell not so strong?
I won't take any product suggestions I'm sorry but I'm too cheap for that!

(I might put a video up for it)

Rinse: White Vinegar, Baking Soda
Condition: Aussie Moist

You could try to add essential oils to mask the smell, like lavender, rosemary, or mint. Or something really smelly that you like.

I also heard that the vinegar smell goes away when your hair dries. Maybe you need to dilute the vinegar more..
