Can anyone help with my hair type and how to lean about porosity. Thanks
I used denman brush,kinky curly and conditioner in my wash n go pictures.

    Your hair type looks to be 3c. That's what I am and it curls somewhat the same. I'm still trying to figure out the porosity thing. I'm new around here too. There's a forum regarding porosity that you may want to search thru to get and idea.

    Curl pattern (2, 3, 4) doesn't matter as much as texture, density, porosity and elasticity. is a great place to start. It has the information on all of those important hair properties. It's a lot of reading, but once you understand a little about it, you can choose the best products for your hair! Good luck and I hope that helps.

    I see that silicone conditioners are the best to fight frizz so any recommendations?

    Search the site for info about silicones... they can actually suffocate your hair and cause dryness.
