Can you put rollers on transitioning hair?

I want to put rollers on but i dont know if it will work and actually help my hair blend in with the two different textures I have tried to before but i didnt know how to put the rollers on.Also i dont have a blow dryer so i want to know if i can just air dry it.I need some tips on how to put the rollers on and how much hair i should put on each roller

Any tips on putting rollers on or videos would be much apperciated

There's also plenty of videos on YouTube showing you how to roll your hair with/without tension for smoother roots/volume. I'm personally staying away from roller sets because I would be too tempted to use heat on my hair. I haven't had a blow out in a hot second lol. You can air dry the roller set if you want. Your drying time depends on the length/thickness of your hair. If you have some free time or a day off, choose that day to do the roller set if you don't have a dryer. I hope this helps!

Thanks! I forgot to mention that you should use lightweight products for roller sets. Water-based products will give your hair shiny bouncy results. A lightweight serum helps seal the water and leave in your hair. I'm just going to list the products I use when I do a roller set but if your have similar products by all means use them. Make sure your hair is clarified (squeaky clean for better results). Please use a moisturizing deep conditioner before you do a roller set. Your hair will be much softer especially if you have a lot of new growth. As for deep conditioners I either use Alter Ego's Garlic conditioner which contains light protiens and their Coconunt Conditioning Mask. When I'm also doing a roller set, this is the only time I use products that contain silicones. I just make sure I clarify my hair with a sulfate shampoo the next week. I use to roller set my hair every week when I was still relaxing my hair. Depending on how much new growth you have or the results you're looking for, you can apply heat to your hair (Optional). Or you can fluff out the curls wear your hair curly. If you want tighter curls use smaller rollers, flexi rods, perm rods, etc.

1. My setting lotion is Jane Carter's Wrap & Roll foaming lotion.

2. I use whatever leave in conditioner I have which can be Kinky-Curly Knot Today, A Shea Moisture leave in conditioner/hair milk, Karen's Body Beautiful's Sweet Ambrosia, etc. (I don't have a preference). I use half a dime size amount on my hair. I focus more on the ends of my hair.

3. Then I use a serum which is the MoroccanOil treatment.

4. A spray bottle with water and sometimes a couple drops of Oyin's Juices & Berries.
