The back of my hair

The back of my hair is the longest part when it straight and wet but when it dries my curls tighten up so much that it looks like I only have hair in the front. HELP :-(

    the middle of my head is where my tightest curls are too lol. I used to try and weigh it down with tons of product.

    Current State: Just bc'd but still growing out heat damage in the front that goes to the root
    High Density, Medium Porosity
    Length: Grazing SL curly with tons of layers
    Goal: MBL curly? 2019?

    why dont you try stretching them out? once your hair is about 80% dry you can get a blow dryer, set it on cool or lowest heat and finish drying your hair while finger combing :)
