Well...I went back after about 6 years. I didn't get a relaxer... I think it was a thermal reconditioning that my hair dresser did. So far I love it!! I cant wet it for 72 hours so now it's slept on and I'm used to doing it every day so...it'll look better. But it is looser..and longer...and way calmer. My canopy even feels silky and us behaving very nicely. I will still be babying it like I always do...but I think I'll be checking out this board more...since I'm not natural anymore. In still curly...just more relaxed...in thrilled!

Back on Cones,so now my routine is,wash with Deva No-Poo every other day or so. Occasionally use 365 sulfate free, maybe use low sulfate shampoo mixed with conditioner once every two weeks are longer. I condition with Aussie Moist or HEHH. I style with a little GF TN,and finish up with tons of GN Pure Clean Smoothing Cream. No frizz...slippy, happy hair.

Thanks...I am so happy with it. It's better now...I wasn't able to co-wash or comb for like 3 days after the process...so today was the first time. It has more body than when I came from the salon now that I could do it the way I normally do. I am thrilled! It's more uniform...kinda 2c/3a...so happy!

Hey,you gotta do what works for YOUR hair. I just went back to relaxing mine after only four months because it was taking me thirty minutes or so just to detangle even using a good conditioner and it just wasn't working for me. I'll only do the roots and probably only once a month if that. But I do make sure to moisturize before and after and haven't had any issues!

Its great if this works for your hair. You will need to invest more time in taking care of it, and the results will be great! It is important to find a good Salon which understands your hair needs and does what suits you the best. Your picture looks good and this is suiting you a lot!
