Hair getting into my eyes

RizosNegrosRizosNegros Posts: 13Registered Users
Hello!
I'm growing out my hair, but it's growing in many different lengths. At the back is a little below shoulder length, but the front is getting into my eyes when I wear it down and curly.
Please give me some advice on how to style my hair in the front, , i will appreciate any suggestions. (headbands give me great headaches)
Thank you!

The same is going on with me. I have layers and bangs growing out and they're curling inward toward my eyes. So far I've been able to smooth gel on my hairline to give it enough hold to keep it from falling in my eyes. I have to tip my head back so my hair all falls backward and then smooth the gel on about the first two inches but concentrating on my root area.

I'll be glad when it gets past the eye area

Well, I've had pretty good luck with arranging clips on top and in front until almost dry and then fluffing it. I've been sort of "training" it to stay out of my eyes.

I hold back my growing-out side bangs with hair-colored bobby pins when I need to.
    3a/b, fine, lots of it

    Hello Girls!

Thank you very much for your replies!! :) I will try out your ideas.

medusahair, I will also be very glad when this stage of my hair-growing proccess ends. Sometimes i get frustrated with shrinkage, the hair that gets in my eyes is almost chin length when stretched... :( :( :(

I normally part my hair on the side then put it behind my ears then secure it with bobby pins or clips (the color of my hair)

Now that's some shrinkage! I think mine is to my mouth when I pull it straight but it's so nice and humid lately it's zapping me right in the eye. It's not long enough to do much with. The good news is the better it curls up the less likely it is to directly poke my eye at least.
For a while there my bang part was straighter and it would make a u shape right into my eye. N omore bangs ever!

What about using those little baby jaw-clips and doing a few twists straight back with your shorter hairs? (did that make any sense?) A friend of mine does that and it always looks pretty cute.

Kinda like this but less exciting

speaking for myself only I get crimps in the hair if I use clips. I used to clip back some all the time but I got a frizzy damaged spot right where I did that at.
I have no clue myself how to avoid that
