Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil vs. Tropic Isle Living Jamaican Black Castor Oil

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day, night, wherever you are.

So I tried to find a post that might have mentioned about the two brands of Jamaican Black Castor Oil on here, but I only found one from a different site, so I decided to make a post about the brands of JBCO here on this site.

Anyway, I have a question in regards to JBCO. So, I'm on the verge of purchasing some of the oil. After doing constant research about the benefits of the oil, I think I'm ready to buy it. There's just one problem: Which brand should I purchase? Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil or Tropic Isle Living Jamaican Black Castor Oil? I first heard about the Tropic Isle JBCO when YouTube vlogger, Franchesca Ramsey from chescalocs raved about it in one of her videos.

Here's the video:

When checking out the Tropic Isle JBCO online, I also came across another brand of the oil: Sunny Isle JBCO. After reviewing that brand (reading the consumer's reviews and looking at the before and after photos with the use of this oil) and all of the information of that brand of oil, I was thinking about getting that oil instead. Looking back at the other brand, Tropic Isle, I read a little information about that brand and one of the things I read about were the myths of other brands of JBCO (brands like Sunny Isle, I assume) that use higher levels of ash to make the oil darker in color and burnt from over-roasting the seeds and making the castor oil darker and burnt doesn't make it any more better, but if anything more irritant. Here's the info on it right here on the Tropic Isle site: Myths | tropic.

Sunny Isle has another JBCO in darker form, but that's not the one I want anyway, due to the price and to what the Tropic Isle info mentioned.
I have found out that the Tropic Isle JBCO is more "known" and more people have used it, and the Sunny Isle JBCO is more "newer" to the list of the types of brands of the oil.

So based off of the information from both brands given and personal preferences, which brand of JBCO do you OR would you use? Which one "might" be better, in your opinion based on research and experience?

I've only used Tropic Isle. Buuuuut it stinks! I guess I like it ok, but I haven't really noticed any change with my hair or growth rate, though TBH...

I've only used Sunny Isle JBCO. I've been using it since 2010 and when used consistently it provided tremendous hair growth for my daughter and I. I use the Extra Dark because the extra ash content is what was said to make hair growth results so extreme. I thought about trying the Tropic Isle since it is available in hair locally but i prefer to stick with what works.

    Hi there EbonyLikeTheMag
Just wanted to know if you've managed to use one of the products and if so which one? Also, can you tell me how long you used it and if it worked for you? I'm about to make a purchase but would like to know which one works! Many thanks. User
