What is good enough second day hair and how do you remedy problem areas?

I think I am close to achieving second and possibly third day hair. It just takes too long for it to dry on work days so I have been making a great effort to achieve wearable second day hair. I just wonder if it looks decent enough to go to look professional at work. It is less shiny and defined. Also, the back part of my hair is not great but I use Loreal Out of Bed Texurizer on it with a little water. I just spritz the rest of my hair with a little water to deal with waking up frizz.

What is good enough second day hair for you and how do you deal with your problem areas?

I actually like my hair best on the second day. I usually cowash or wash at night, apply gel and plop for a few minutes. Then air dry until just damp. Pineapple damp hair all night, then let it down in the morning. Shake it out a little, spray with water and diffuse I I have time. That's the best hair for me. Third day is normally a bin or pony tail.

I have a weird schedule so my hairgets washed at any time of the day. I use my devafuser to dry my roots & length i leave damp. For bedtime I pineapple & sleep with a satin cap. Upon waking up I refresh my hair with DevaCurl mister right and apply conditioner to any areas that may have frizz. I put the satin cap on again, get ready then take it iff before I leave. I find tis to best set my hair, even get 3rd day hair out of it.

Today is 2nd day hair (but I only do this when I wake up late & in a panic). The only option I've found for 2nd day hair is a headband and it's not a look I want to have often. I gently combed through to separate hair, then spritzed generously with water and sprayed a little spray gel on also & scrunched. Let airdry and my curls/waves are far different on 2nd day, but still pretty defined. The back of hair isn't as full, so I teased a little at crown at back of headband. I sure wish this was a look I liked, since it took me 1/2 the time to get ready this AM.
