calling all soft water curlies

I live in a soft water area and I am so tired of the constant struggle to not get o/ced and trying to remove/rinse products from my hair! My hair only looks really good right after a clarifying/sulfate wash or a PT, otherwise it is weighed down/limp/mushy feeling. Anyone else have advice for products that will rinse out easier or techniques that work well with soft water?

When I had access to softened water I remember my hair not needing as much moisture as I need for hard water. I remember using less moisturizing conditioners(example: JC Too Shea was too much for my hair with softened water). I also didn't need to do DTs either. Also, I remember less is more when using products with soft water, less poo and cond etc.
    3a/b medium/coarse combo(w/some fine strands), normal porosity, normal elasticity(strong)
Komaza analysis 2015: medium to coarse combo(some fine strands), normal porosity, strong elasticity, healthy hair
Goosefootprints 2013: moderately coarse with some medium; low porosity at roots, normal thru shaft, porous ends, normal elasticity

I have softened water and I concur on using less condish and lighter moisturizing type products. And I never use a leave in because it weighs down my hair. Always always use water soluble products.

Thanks! I hardly ever use a leave in, so I will try using less condish and product overall. I think i use fairly light stuff, but maybe I use too much. I like lots of slip when I co-wash or poo so that I don't pull my hair, so if I use less, I will have to rethink that one...
