    Here's a thread about curly bobs http://www.naturallycurly.com/curltalk/general-discussion-about-curly-hair/70484-curly-bobs-unite-whats-like-about.html

I've worn my inverted bob for almost four years. It's the first time in my adult life that I feel that I have a style.

I think you have great cheek bones and nice eyes. Short hair should show off both. A lot of people want to do dramatic things with their hair this time of year. Make sure you really want to cut before you do it and that it isn't just cabin fever messin' with your mind.

Oh my gosh you are gorgeous! The long hair looks great on you, but I think you could pull off a bob too. I think you are probably a 2b but I'm not the best at hair typing... I would like to go short too but when I smile my face is too round, you would not have this problem. I'd say go for it if you'd like!
2c/3a, fine texture, normal porosity, medium-to-thick

Hi and welcome. First of all, aren't you lovely? Your hair looks a bit similar to mine (fine and silky?) and I've had mine all sorts of lengths. Your hair looks very nice at the length you have it right now - that actually looks like an intentional "hair style." It's got that "sexy longish hair" look and it works very well on you. I agree with Kathymack about arriving at that point at which you feel you have a real, grown-up, honest-to-goodness hairstyle.

With hair like yours, if you are determined to go shorter (re-read what Pedaheh wrote several times!), you might do well to do it gradually. Unless you are the impulsive type who likes to dive in head-first (nothing wrong with that). I say that because, unless you've had short hair before, it might not wave or have volume where you expect. Some of us have hair that waves nearer the roots and some do not. A big haircut will turn out better if you can predict how your hair will behave before you cut. Wow, I sound salty!
The better you know your hair, the better you will be able to pick a style that will work great.

I am a short hair lover. That being said, I love your long hair! It looks fabulous on you. I think if you are really considering a bob, head to your local wig shop. Try on some bob style wigs and see if you really like that look. Bring a friend to get a 2nd opinion.
Sort of CG sometimes, but not really
2B, medium? normal porosity and elasticity?

Thanks for all of the comments! I didn’t think I would get any. I’ve had my hair in a bob before, back in 8th grade. Here’s a link: http://i313.photobucket.com/albums/ll385/faery14/guitar.jpg

Please excuse the ridiculous guitar pose…I wanted an awesome facebook profile picture and it didn’t exactly work out the way I intended. I used to straighten my hair lots back then. (Which I deeply regret…) I believe this is the only photo where it is curly/wavy. I found another one...right before I started straightening, it doesn’t really help but I thought it was cute!

I thought your hair looked very pretty long, but once I saw your hair shorter it looked so cute too. Do you have root curl, not sure if that's a consideration with shorter hair since I'm new to this.
