here is a link about the different herbs and such in ayurvedic hair care; but im looking for a step by step routine... Ayurvedic Herbs for Hair Care

i wanted to know if anyone here has used this regimine and what your results were. how did you like it? what didnt you like? what is hair routine??

im trying to gain insight so i can make up a routine of my own. i have pcos and my hair is very thin and brittle (breaks very easily) right now. i have lost most of my thickness to my curls and i am trying to get that back.

Most ayurvedic regimens vary by as many ppl that use them. From my research, there is no ONE right way to use these powders. I would suggest googling different routines and learning about the herbs and deciding what works for you.

Some ppl use the powdered herbs as rinses, some as pastes, some mix in with their conditioners, etc.

Trial and error will be your reward.

To add, not every combination of herbs can work for everyone. Its the sort of thing that you have to customize yourself. There are recipies but id recommend playing around with quantities to find the best one for yourself

I use ayurvedic but mostly the ready make. I use poo bars I either order, buy at health food store or at Indian store. I order ayurvedic oils and an ayurvedic mist. I also henna.
My hair loves it but I must be careful so to avoid dryness. Prepoos with oil help.
Yes, it's real. No, you can't touch it. :wav:

How to Use Olive Oil for the Hair loss ?
Here is a step wise, olive oil hair loss treatment procedure, which can be easily carried out at home.
    Step 1
Mix two tablespoons of olive oil with one tablespoon of coconut oil, in a bowl. Remember always to use extra virgin olive oil, as it is olive oil in its most natural form.
    Step 2
Take a small amount of this mixture in your palm and with your fingertips, apply it on your scalp and hair.
    Step 3
Massage your hair lightly. Remember not to pull the hair while massaging as it might increase the amount of hair that you are losing. Continue massaging for about fifteen minutes.
    Step 4
Post massaging, take a shower cap and cover your head with it. Leave the oil on the hair overnight or for minimum four hours. This helps in better absorption of oil by the scalp and the hair.
    Step 5
In the morning, wash your hair with a mild shampoo or with a medicated shampoo or herb shampoo. People who are suffering from hair loss should always dilute the shampoo with water and then apply it on the hair and scalp, rather than applying directly, as all shampoos contain chemicals, and these chemicals, when they come in direct contact with the scalp, can weaken the hair roots and thus, cause further hair loss.
