Help in Flagstaff? Is a generic place okay?

I just got a Deva cut a bit ago, but after some thought, I've decided I need to maybe cut my hair shorter. I'm about 2c/3a, and I really liked the Deva Cut, but it's not something I can afford to do a lot. Right now, depending on the day, I'm about BSL, but I feel like with my hair, it's a little too short to be as long and flowy as I'd like, but long enough that I feel cluttered, if that makes sense. By the end of the day it's just kind of everywhere. I'm thinking of going a little past shoulders--enough to still have lots of curl, but maybe a little more manageable.

I'm up in college in Flagstaff, and was wondering if anyone knew of any affordable places I could go to get this done...or if I should just wait until I go home in February for a break. I'm not sure how to go about finding someone who cuts hair well, since up til recently I just went to whoever. I'll post pics in a second so I can show you guys what I mean.

Any advice on finding hairstylists or anything at all is appreciated!
