Chocolate Tea anyone!?

AmazinnaturalAmazinnatural Posts: 755Registered Users
Hey ladies,
So this afternoon I was looking for my breakfast tea bags in the process I came across some semi sweet chocolates. So I got this bright idea to make a chocolate tea. I know it doesn't sound ideal, I never heard nobody make chocolate tea. But anyway it actually came out tasting quite delicious. I used a breakfast tea bag, some chocolate chips, and a little honey/or sugar.
I don't know if you guys want to try it , but I thought I might put it out there anyway. Enjoy!

That sounds good. I'm not a big tea drinker myself but I did go to a High Tea before and I had some caramel tea there. It was super delish and this is coming from someone who only drinks tea in the most extreme circumstances lol.

Whole foods actually sells chocolate tea bags so it must not be that crazy. I bought a package of them but I think I only drank maybe 3 of them. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be but maybe I should try to doctor it up more.

Well, chocolate is paired pretty well with tea in desserts. Chocolate, citrus and jasmine tart, or chocolate and earl grey cakes, chocolate and matcha. So, there's no reason why you couldn't reverse it, really.

I make and love chocolate spice yerba mate tea. I just buy plain yerba mate and add cocoa, cinnamon, clove. Mmmm.
