odd hair...

my mom has forced me to shower at night and sleep with wet hair now...but no matter how i sleep or style my hair before bed, the right side of my hair is fuzzy with ill-definsed curls. the left is perfectly fine, usually. can anyone identify this problem and help me find the solution :(?

I agree with not sleeping with wet hair. I would shower early enough in the evening for your hair to get mostly dry. Use a gel, and let your hair dry crunchy. Don't scrunch out the crunch, it will keep your hair in place. Then use a scrunchie to make a loose ponytail right on top of your head. This should keep you from smushing your curls when you sleep. In the morning, take out the scrunchie, and scrunch out any crunch you may have left.
