For the past few months I have been scrunching in products in soaking wet hair but it seems I always have one side of my head that is flatter than the other. On one side of my part there will be nicely seaparated curls and on the other thicker curls that get clumped together and usually a thick spiral curl in the front. This looks like I have flat hair on one side of my head. Would I get better defintion if I combed or raked in the gel? Should this be done bending over? Right now I finger comb my conditioner in the shower right side up and then I rinse bent over. I then smooth in some gel over my wet hair which is lying flat on my head and then shake my head back and forth and up and down. My hair is short and fine but I have alot so it is thick.
