Biosilk RHG

So I caved and bought some Biosilk Rock Hard Geleé last night after reading so many raves here. Tried it out today and I got GREAT curl formation, and it seems to have better hold than my trusty old ArcAngell. But I have two questions:

1) How much of this do most of you use? It seems like I'll need less of it than I used today, but I want to be sure.
2) Is there a way to improve clumping with this? I have really skinny curls normally and I'd like to get them a little fatter so they look less raggedy.

Any tips would be great. Thanks!

I only use maybe 1/2 tsp or so. BRHG does tend to give you skinnier curls, though. I like to use a mousse to pump up my curls, then scrunch in about 1/4 tsp of BRHG over that for hold.
    I'm a 3b, with 3c underneath.

Used to be CG, now I'm not. Using Suave Aloe & Waterlily shampoo & condish, JoiWhip, BRHG, Suave Aloe gel, Aussie Tizz No Frizz, and anything else that looks good!

I just picked up this TresEMME gel today too (the PJ is STRONG with me!):

TresEMME Curl Care Bouncy Curls gel

    Here are the ingredients:
Water (Aqua), VP/ Dimethylaminoethylmethacrylate Copolymer, PVP, PPG-5 Ceteth-20, Polysorbate-20, Triisopropaline, Carbomer, DMDM Hydantoin, Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, PEG 12 Dimethicone, Olealkonium Chloride, Tetrasodium EDTA, Panthenol, Gelatin/Keratin Amino Acids/Lysine Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Fragrance (Parfum), Ext Violet 2 (ci 60730)

It has Dimethicone, but it has that "PEG 12" in front of it – not sure what that means. It was pretty inexpensive, so we'll see. I'll probably try it over the weekend in case it's awful!

I like the results I got from the BRHG. But I do think I need to use less. I'll try again tomorrow!

Definitely try using less - the first time I used it, I put too much in my hair. I used less the second time and it looked great - I actually get pretty good clumping w/ BRHG but I need to use a leave in under it.

I use a leave in under it, too. Lately, I've been using about a nickle-sized blob on top of the leave in, concentrating on the front and canopy, then some Aura gel from Sally's on top of that.

What is the price for BHRG? A local store has it for $11.15. Is that a good price? (Cost Cutters-I think this chain is only in Central/South Jersey).

    Thanks!

I use about a dime-sized blob for each section of hair (I do my hair in three sections). I can get away with about half that when it's not humid out. It does give you skinny curls, but a lot of people use a leave-in to minimize this. I've gotten used to the skinny curls- I don't get much clumping anyway, regardless of what gel I use- because I love it's curl-enhancing properties so much. :)

I tried BRHG this morning and love it! My hair has more volume and looks so much better than when using Tress FX and Climate Control. I did my normal routine Tigi Oatmeal & Honey poo & condish, then a leave-in, followed by BRHG (applied in sections). After diffusing and air dry, I ran some pomade over my hair to get the crunch out and my curls look defined (not stringy at all) and shiny. :D Good hair day!
