I'm kind of new here, but I believe that BC stands for ”big chop” and CG stands for the Curly Girl method. Ciao!

The big chop is basically when you chop off your chemically treated hair, ie. Perm, relaxer; the curly girl method is a method where you don't shampoo your hair and avoid products products with sulfate, and silicons also heat styling.
P.s. Most reviews of the curly girl method mention the loosening of your curls over time and wash n go hair
