I get that.. I also think people should be able to figure it out for themselves given that the descriptions are pretty clear. I've said it before.. hold up a pipe cleaner, a Sharpie marker, a penspring, or whatever and compare. It's not rocket science. But seems like a lot of folks still need validation from others, and whether or not they are "3c" they can still post here. There's no need for curl segregation.

That's also why I posted about four different threads showing 3c hair pictures upthread.. they can take it or leave it.

:thumbright: I agree. I'm a certain curl type (3a), but I still take an interest in what the 2s through to the 4s are doing, much to my husband's frustration, lol!:laughing9:

I don't know if you meant me or Jo.. but yes I agree that the curl size/type system only really helps regarding how styles may look on whichever type of hair.

Hmm I'm still learning how to use this site. But anywho we have the exact same curls! To whomever said you were 3b I'd have to disagree, considering my hair is (well was) exactly the same I also consider myself a 3c. Beautiful tho

The poster I replied to did say she was confused though, and her pics are definitely 3B.

Different eyes see different things... for example, Sedadica got conflicting "diagnoses" of her curl size in this very thread, so should she not post here because of other peoples' perceptions (be they accurate or not)? For Sedadica, I see a classic 3c. Same thing with Messy-Jessy.. I see 4a with a bit of 3c in front, so should she be kicked out of the pool for that?

Anyways, it's not really that serious.. ya'll carry on. See my sig.. curl size is not the end all be all.

Well ladies, I've been told endless times that my hair is 3C. And I do believe it. No matter what others say about our hair, what matters is how we feel with and about it. And I love mine. Took a long time for me to realise that I have a beautiful hair (for me at least) and I do not need to go to any hairdresser to pay lots of cash to curl it. This is what my parents gave me and I'll cherish it. This is what matters.

this is my hair on an uncommonly tamed day. i had to tie it back all day to get it to be this calm, and condition it while drenching wet. i kind of like it like that. but, normally, i have super frizzy hair that i like for the first 5 hours of the day, then it gets big and pouffy. can't seem to stop it from doing that. strange combination of rough super dry loose curls with high porosity and barb wire like thickness. C'est la vie.
