New Years Hair Resolutions

Ok..I'm not that big on New Year Resolutions; I'm good if I even remember them after two months, lol! But I thought it may be a good thing to write down a few hair related goals I want to reach in 2012:

1. Finish off products before I repurchase...or at least be halfway done.

2. Do not experiment with any more products. I've found everything that works so i will stick with that.

3. To wear protective styles at least 8-9 months

4. Get my hair professionally done at least once this year.

5. Focus more on healthy hair and not length. Don't think I did anyway, but it doesn't hurt to put it down.

What's yours?
4b mostly, with some 4a

    1. No 'product' buy until there is room in my hair drawers. (Replacing hair butters/oils is an exception)

    2. Will only straighten my hair for special occasions, and only with steam.

    3. Keep hair stretched for protective styling purposes.

    4. Update blog more often.

    5. Play mixologist. :thumbleft:

    1. End my product junkie days. At this point I think it's safe to say I won't be buying anything for a long LONG time (unless something I have goes bad).

    2. Get a trim every 4-6 months.

    3. Perfect my twists on my TWA.

    4. Continue to not get heavy-handed with my products and only use as much as my hair needs.

    5. Put products I'm not using in the fridge more often so they last longer.

Protect my darn hair from the elements!

    No harsh hair dyes.

Try some products that I've always wanted to try but never did.

Enjoy my hair journey...even with any ups and downs of growing it back out.

And relax. I have all the information and then some that I need to care for my hair so just care for it properly and accept it as it is.

in 2012 I plan to take better care of myself and my hair overall.. last year for the greater part of the year I was in training for the AF and really didn't have much time... now I'm 1 year natural, planning to

    maintain water and vitamin intake
    excercise more
experiment with styles more (all I do is two-strand smh)
start tracking my hair journey better
trim every 4-6months or as needed
    have a better hair regimen

Get my hair trimmed at least once every four months.

    Co-wash more and shampoo less.
