sea making hair a laughing stock
in Hair Type 3
I have recently started spending a lot more time in the sea. I'm having a great time but my hair is not. It's getting really dry and fluffy, in fact it looks and feels like candy floss/fairy floss.
I have tried putting olive oil in my hair before I go in, it's helped a little but if I'm in the water for more than half an hour even my own kids are laughing at my hair .
I rinse it really well when I get out and put conditioner into it before I even leave the beach so it's in ok condition generally, just trying to figure out what to do with it whilst in the sea/beach.
I'd try tying it up but to date all that's happened is the sea has ripped the elastics out of my hair.
suggestions on a postcard to -you with the funny hair on the beach

3a,fine.
using : a varied assortment till I work out what the heck is going on
scrunch or plop with old t shirt
Garnier endurance hold gel
Mop clean system- hair feels stripped after using it. Anyone want it? then I can justify getting something different.
4 kids, 1 husband, emigrated to Australia -filling in forms, buying a house, sorting out school...and trying to track down hair products
= no time

Trying leaving in more conditioner than you usually would, maybe washing it more is making it go fluffier? Have you changed anything in your hair routine? If you have then that might be your problem!
Hope I helped,
