Any Cute Short Style for a 3?

My daughter is 6 and is a curly 3. She has an extremely tender head and I dread dealing with her hair anymore. I am generally a fan of long hair. I have always had longer, but lately ponder shortening her hair. I have never really seen cute, short curly hair on a child. Any suggestions for a cut and style?

I am going through the same thing with my 3 1/2 year old who has 3a hair. She has such beautiful curls, but she hates having me mess with her hair all the time. It's always hanging in her face (she won't keep a headband in for very long and her hair is about chin length- so not long enough for a loose pony tail).
